Brighton & Hove Albion assistant head coach Andrew Crofts is reportedly set to leave the club and join Roberto De Zerbi’s coaching staff at Tottenham Hotspur.
Himothy Reports claims Crofts will make the move to north London, although neither Brighton nor Tottenham have officially confirmed his departure.
Crofts currently works as one of Fabian Hürzeler’s assistant head coaches. Brighton promoted the former Albion captain into the position in August 2024 after he previously worked under De Zerbi at the Amex.

The expected move would reunite Crofts with De Zerbi, who became Tottenham head coach in March 2026.
Crofts joined the Italian’s first-team staff after Graham Potter left Brighton for Chelsea in September 2022. He remained at the club following De Zerbi’s departure and became an important part of Hürzeler’s coaching setup.
His exit would force Brighton to decide whether to appoint another assistant before the Premier League season begins. Jonas Scheuermann and Daniel Niedzkowski are also listed as assistant head coaches, so Hürzeler already has experienced support within his staff.
However, Crofts has a long association with Albion as both a player and coach. He made 125 appearances across two playing spells before returning in 2019 to begin his coaching career with the academy.
Brighton’s pre-season preparations are already under way as Hürzeler builds towards the new campaign. Losing a senior coach at this stage would create an unwanted disruption, particularly given Crofts’ knowledge of the squad and the club’s structure.
Tottenham have not yet revealed which position Crofts would take in De Zerbi’s staff. Further confirmation is expected before the move can be considered complete.
