Brighton chairman Tony Bloom has issued a passionate call to supporters ahead of the club’s historic Women’s FA Cup final appearance at Wembley this weekend.

The Seagulls face Women’s Super League champions Manchester City on Sunday afternoon with Albion aiming to crown a remarkable season with silverware on the biggest stage in English football.

Albion chasing another upset

City arrive at Wembley as clear favourites but Brighton have already shown they can upset the odds during their impressive cup run.

A stunning victory at Arsenal in the quarter-finals was followed by a dramatic comeback against Liverpool in the semi-finals as Dario Vidosic’s side battled back from 2-0 down at Anfield.

Their recent draw with Arsenal also helped hand Manchester City the league title and highlighted the rapid progress being made by Albion’s women’s team.

He also encouraged families and supporters across the city to embrace the chance to be part of a memorable occasion under the Wembley arch.
