Brighton & Hove Albion now have an immediate decision to make on Amario Cozier-Duberry after fresh interest emerged from Leeds United and Hull City.
According to The Sun, both clubs are monitoring the 21-year-old winger after his productive loan spell at Bolton Wanderers, where he scored eight goals and helped drive their promotion campaign.
The timing is awkward for Albion. Cozier-Duberry returned from Bolton with stronger senior credentials, but Brighton have also added further wide competition through the arrival of Zadok Yohanna from AIK Stockholm.
Brighton Must Decide Between Pathway And Profit
Leeds are understood to be assessing wide options, while Hull’s promotion to the Premier League has sharpened their need for attacking depth. West Ham, Paris FC, Strasbourg and Freiburg have also been credited with interest, underlining how quickly Cozier-Duberry’s market has expanded.
For Brighton, the question is not simply whether the former Arsenal academy talent is sellable. It is whether Fabian Hurzeler can offer him a credible first-team route next season.
Albion have already seen the winger’s loan value rise, as covered in Read Brighton’s previous Cozier-Duberry transfer interest piece. A permanent sale would fit the club’s familiar trading model, but losing him now would also remove a high-upside wide option before European football stretches the squad.
Brighton do not need to panic. They do, however, need clarity before rival clubs turn interest into formal bids.
