- Brighton reportedly monitoring Enzo Boyomo
- Premier League clubs tracking Osasuna defender
- Cameroon international developing well in La Liga
Brighton are closely tracking Osasuna centre-back Enzo Boyomo as they continue to assess defensive options ahead of the summer transfer window.
The 24-year-old Cameroon international has attracted interest from several clubs across Europe, with Everton and Sunderland also monitoring his situation, alongside Serie A side Como. However, Brighton are among the Premier League clubs keeping a particularly close eye on his development.
Boyomo joined CA Osasuna in August 2024 on a five-year deal and remains under contract until 2029. Reports currently value him at around £17 million and place his release clause in the region of £21 million.
Osasuna already showed their willingness to hold firm on their valuation when they reportedly rejected a £13 million offer from Juventus last season.
Boyomo’s Rise
Boyomo’s rise has been steady rather than immediate. After coming through the youth system at Toulouse, he moved to Blackburn Rovers’ academy in 2016 but did not make a first-team appearance before being released in 2020.
A move to Spain with Albacete proved to be a turning point. Over three seasons, he established himself as a regular starter, making over 90 league appearances and building a reputation for consistency at the back.
He later joined Real Valladolid, playing a key role in their promotion to La Liga, before securing his move to Osasuna, where he has continued to develop at the top level. At international level, Boyomo has earned nine caps for Cameroon.

Why Are Brighton Interested?
For Brighton, the interest reflects a continued focus on identifying players who can develop within their system. With European football still a possibility next season, strengthening defensive depth is likely to be a priority.
Also, with the potential for Jan Paul van Hecke to leave the club this summer, Brighton are looking at options to replace the Dutchman. Recent reports have also linked the club with Bayern Munich defender Hiroki Ito.
Scouts value Boyomo for the experience he has gained across different leagues and for the imposing physical profile he brings, while several clubs continue to push for his signature.
