  • The winger impressed on loan at Bolton with goals and assists
  • Clubs in Germany, France and England are tracking his future

Brighton & Hove Albion are reportedly keen to secure the long-term future of Amario Cozier-Duberry after the winger’s standout loan spell at Bolton Wanderers, with fresh interest emerging from clubs across Europe.

According to recent reports from Fabrizio Romano, Brighton have presented Cozier-Duberry with a new contract proposal, while clubs in both Germany and France remain in the race to sign the 20-year-old. There is also understood to be interest from teams in both the Premier League and Championship.

The Seagulls appear eager to reward the youngster after a breakthrough campaign in League One, where he has established himself as one of the division’s most exciting attacking talents.

Cozier-Duberry Shines at Bolton

Cozier-Duberry has made 34 appearances for Bolton this season, scoring eight goals and providing 12 assists in a hugely productive loan spell. His form has been particularly important in the final weeks of the campaign. He scored the only goal in Bolton’s 1-0 play-off semi-final first-leg win over Bradford City, putting the Trotters in a strong position ahead of Thursday’s second leg.

Across all competitions, he has reached double figures for both goals and assists, underlining the impact he has made after arriving from Brighton last summer. His performances also earned him a place in the EFL League One Team of the Season.

That form marks a major turnaround for the former Arsenal academy player. Brighton signed him from Arsenal in 2024, and after a frustrating loan spell at Blackburn Rovers, this season at Bolton has given him the regular minutes needed to show his quality.

Brighton Planning Long-Term Future

Cozier-Duberry remains under contract at Brighton until 2028, but the club are now looking to extend that deal further. That suggests Fabian Hurzeler’s side see him as a serious long-term option rather than a player to cash in on this summer.

His decision could come soon, with Romano reporting that the winger is expected to choose his next step in the coming weeks. Whether that means committing to Brighton or exploring interest elsewhere, his strong season has clearly changed his standing.

For Brighton, tying down one of England’s most naturally gifted young wide players would be another statement of intent as they continue building around emerging talent.
