# Brighton Tromso: Kostoulas Primed to Lead Attack in European Decider

Brighton & Hove Albion face a decisive evening as they host their [brighton tromso](https://www.theargus.co.uk/sport/26499789.fabian-hurzeler-assesses-striker-brighton-expect-changes) play-off return fixture at The American Express Community Stadium following a 0-0 draw in Norway.

## Deadlock at the Halfway Stage

The Seagulls must break through a resolute opponent to secure progression in the Conference League. With everything level after the first leg, Albion need incisive attacking play on home turf.

## Rutter Doubt Opens Path for Kostoulas

Georginio Rutter sat out training on the eve of the tie with a minor issue, putting his availability in doubt. That absence opens a starting opportunity for Charalampos Kostoulas, while Jack Hinshelwood could step into an advanced midfield role.

## Pressing Intensity in Focus for Brighton Tromso Clash

Fabian Hürzeler highlighted the striker’s development without the ball, noting: “He’s definitely always in my in my thinking.”

The German manager expects complete commitment, adding: “He also understand now more and more how important it is to work against the ball, and that’s how I will judge him when he’s on the pitch.”

## Dismantling Tromso’s Resilient Defensive Block

Unlocking Tromso’s low block will require clinical finishing in tight spaces. Hürzeler believes Kostoulas offers the right qualities for the task:

“He’s a natural goalscorer. He wants to score goals and I think that’s also crucial in these kind of games.”

“When or if Gini Rutter can’t play, I think we have a good replacement with him.”
