# Brighton Transfer News: Man Utd Weigh Up £50m Ferdi Kadioglu Swoop

The latest [brighton transfer news](https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/2242982/Man-Utd-Ferdi-Kadioglu-transfer/amp) sees Manchester United targeting a late move for defender Ferdi Kadioglu. With the deadline approaching, United are seeking left-back reinforcements, identifying the Turkish full-back as a primary solution.

## Manchester United Target Ferdi Kadioglu Before Deadline

Discussions have commenced between the clubs as Manchester United assess an ambitious bid to reinforce their defensive options. The defender has caught the eye since his arrival on the south coast, prompting interest from Old Trafford before the transfer window shuts.

## Brighton Transfer News and the Fenerbahce Clause

Brighton value the versatile defender at around £50m, which would represent double the £25m fee paid to Fenerbahce. However, the Turkish side included a 10 per cent sell-on clause in that initial deal, meaning they would receive a portion of any fee should Brighton sanction an exit.

## Tactical Impact on Fabian Hürzeler’s Defensive Plans

Losing Kadioglu would present an early tactical challenge for manager Fabian Hürzeler. Although Brighton can rely on Pervis Estupiñán on the left, Kadioglu’s adaptability across both defensive flanks provides crucial squad depth. Parting with him this late in the market would leave limited opportunity to source an equivalent replacement.

## What Next for Brighton in the Final Days of the Window?

Club-to-club conversations remain active, but Brighton are under no pressure to compromise on their valuation. Whether an agreement is reached or not, Kadioglu is scheduled to head to Old Trafford shortly, with the two sides set to meet in the Carabao Cup third round next month.
