Brighton have secured a landmark off-field boost. Pinterest has been confirmed as Brighton & Hove Albion Women’s first standalone shirt sponsor, with the visual search platform signing a four-year deal that will put its logo on the back of the team’s shirts. The new Brighton Women sponsor makes its debut in the pre-season friendly against Paris Saint-Germain on Sunday, 9 August.
It is a significant marker for a women’s side on the rise. This is the first time the team has carried its own dedicated back-of-shirt partner, underlining the growing commercial pull of Dario Vidošić’s squad after a seventh-place WSL finish and a run to the Women’s FA Cup final last season. According to The Argus, the partnership will stretch beyond branding into matchday experiences and grassroots initiatives, and it lands during a busy summer that also delivered Brighton Women’s summer rebuild in the transfer market.
What the Brighton Women sponsor deal means
“Football fandom starts long before kick-off. Pinterest is where those ideas go from URL to IRL, and with Brighton & Hove Albion Women we want to celebrate that creativity and help make every game feel richer, more personal and more memorable for supporters.”
Louise Foley, Pinterest’s director of consumer marketing for Europe
For supporters, the tie-up is another sign of momentum around the women’s team as they build towards the new WSL campaign. Fans will get their first look at the Pinterest branding when the Albion take on Paris Saint-Germain this weekend.
