Brighton Third Kit: Fans Give Their Verdict on Green Strip

The new Brighton third kit for the 2026-27 season has landed, and the Seagulls have gone green. Albion revealed a two-tone deep teal strip this week to sit alongside the 1980s-inspired blue home and white away shirts, and supporters have wasted no time delivering their verdict on the club’s third release of the summer.

The colour is said to be inspired by the sea and the South Downs, with “hyper turq” trim on the collar, side panels and Nike logo. It replaces the lilac away shirt that proved unpopular last term, which has now been ditched. Adult shirts are priced at £70 and youth shirts at £55 — the same as last season — and the kit is already on sale at the Amex, in Churchill Square and online, following the blue-and-white home and away kits revealed earlier in the summer.

What fans made of the Brighton third kit

Reaction was largely warm, if not unanimous. Some supporters questioned the timing and cost of a third strip, while others embraced the new look. “Iconic colours of Sussex, the South Downs and Brighton seafront,” one fan wrote, as supporters reacted via The Argus. Another quipped that the club had “ripped off the Tour de France green jersey” — and didn’t mind one bit.

The players, meanwhile, appear sold. Eiran Cashin said he “really” liked it, Ferdi Kadıoğlu called it “the best one”, and Maxim De Cuyper gave the whole set his approval. Fans will get their first look at the green in action as pre-season continues at the Amex.
