Brighton & Hove Albion have rejected an approach from Anderlecht for winger Amario Cozier-Duberry as Fabian Hürzeler prepares to include him in his first-team plans.
The Belgian club discussed an overall package worth more than £5million. However, Albion have decided against allowing the 21-year-old to leave at this stage.
Andy Naylor reports that Brighton turned down Anderlecht’s approach, with the former Arsenal prospect set to receive an opportunity during pre-season.
Cozier-Duberry has also attracted interest from Rangers, Augsburg and Paris FC following an impressive loan spell with Bolton Wanderers.
Brighton make Cozier-Duberry transfer decision
The winger scored nine times across all competitions during the 2025/26 campaign and helped Bolton secure promotion to the Championship.
His performances strengthened his reputation after a less productive loan spell with Blackburn Rovers during his first season away from Brighton.

Brighton signed Cozier-Duberry following his Arsenal exit in 2024. His pace, close control and ability to operate from either flank fit Hürzeler’s attacking approach.
The Seagulls have also opened discussions over a new contract, although no agreement has yet been reached. His current deal runs until June 2028.
Rejecting an offer worth more than £5million suggests Brighton believe his value can increase through first-team involvement. It also gives Hürzeler another attacking option during a season which includes European football.
Cozier-Duberry must now use pre-season to prove he can transfer his League One form to Premier League level.
